Android version with Blackberry key

Postby tuxbox » Sat Nov 10, 2012 10:27 pm

Hi all,

is it somehow possible to get CS for android and use it with
the once bought registration code (back then for the blackberry)?
I tried with the android demo version but couldnt find
where to put the registration key.

Thanks,
Frank

Hi Frank,
I am terribly sorry that nobody has responded to you yet. Bruce is a "one man" developer/tech support and he is currently dealing with some family health issues. I am sure that just as soon as he can get a free minute to answer you, he will. Again, I am sorry you are having to wait for your response.

I'm pretty sure the answer is that you can't. Google Play doesn't allow you to transfer licenses. Anyway it's only $5 right now and it's a small cost for such a powerful app.

Okay I believe dinoirl is exactly correct, but I thought I'd wait for Bruce to say that. :D Thanks for posting though.

Sorry for the delay I'm more or less back on board :)

The answer is as dinoirl says, there is no way to implement a license transfer, coupon or individual discount on Google Play. I have left the price at $5 all year, it will probably increase in the new year.

Regards,
Bruce

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answers. On the one hand i feared this could be the case,
but on the other hand Cachesense for Android is way way better then the one
from geocaching.com. So the five bucks are well spent.

Thanks a lot again,
Frank

Same need, got rid of my slow Blackberry, replaced by a Samsung, and cannot use my registration key.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'm going to purchase it.

Great app, it worth its price :)
