Ok, i tried a little today and finally fixed the problem.

- It definitely was a problem with the BES, i set up a wifi and there were no problems when connecting via wifi.
- I changed some minor parameters on the BES (yes, i am the admin :P), restarted the services, now it works. :D

greetings
Robert

PS: Thanks for the Link Bruce, there is a post about changing "max kb/connection", that was exactly what i did.
" in blackberry manager select connection service tab then edit connection service properties.
under the general settings > flow control change maximum kb/connection from 256 to 1024 (1024 is maximum)"

Just an added tip, I've found the Bolt Browser on Blackberry to work MUCH better when accessing Geocaching.com than the default browser.

I've pretty much set it as the default browser on my Bold.

I haven't tried Bolt recently, I didn't like when I first tried it but that was a long time ago.. what happens when you download a GPX file with Bolt - does it just download to the SD-Card?

Yeah, you get asked if you want to open or save the file. Just save it to where ever you want to. My Bold 9000 has 1GB on board memory, and an 8GB SC card, I can pick any folder on either and save it. Then, import it with Cacheberry. Uploading is just as simple.

I wasn't a big fan of the early releases, but since 2.0 came out, it's rocked. It's faster and now has tabbed browsing. You can even download a JAR file that will set it as the default browser for email links.

I highly recommend it.

I had that problem on multiple websites when I first got my BlackBerry. Mine started working after I set the "Browser" configuration to "Internet Browser" instead of "BlackBerry Browser".

From inside the Browser, hit the menu button, and go to:
Options --> Browser Configuration

Then set "Browser:" to "Internet Browser".

Is it possible to have two browsers running on a BB and have CB open links in one specific browser while using the other from the browser link in the main menu?

btw I'm using a Storm 9500

I think I can invoke a specific browser, I'll look into it.

dinoirl,

I set Bolt as my default browser (You can do that with the new Opera 5 to). CB opens links in my default (BOLT), and I can still surf using the built in browser at the same time... or, open multiple pages in BOLT by opening a new tab.

The nice thing about using the default browser for geocaching.com is it loads GPX files directly into CacheBerry, no need to save them and load them.
